Massage/Bodywork or Energy Session

The therapist determines how best to perform a therapeutic session. The use of equipment in a session such as cupping, tuning forks and essential oils or other items are reviewed with the client before any applications are performed. Therapists do their best to meet each client’s needs and are willing to take directives in regards to preferences of pressure and areas that you would like to have avoided. All of your massage/bodywork and energy sessions are therapeutically oriented and professional.

Therapist Code of Ethics

Therapists at The Lanesboro Day Spa are independent contractors. All therapists abide by the Code of Ethics of the industry standards described by the American Massage Therapy Association.

Cancellation Policy

We require a minimum of 24 business hours cancellation notice prior to the scheduled session. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged full price.

Arrival Times

We request that our clients arrive for their session 5-10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. If you arrive late for your appointment your massage session will be shortened accordingly.

Refund Policies

We do not offer refunds. We will gladly offer you another session if you let your therapist know that you are unhappy within the first 15 minutes.

Client Confidentiality

Client lists and email lists are confidential. We do not share our lists with outside companies. All therapists at The Lanesboro Day Spa respect client confidentiality outside of the massage/bodywork and energy sessions.

Massage/Bodywork and Energy session on Minors

Therapists may provide massage/bodywork and energy sessions for minors under 18 with parental consent. Parents must call the reception desk to schedule the session and request a parental consent form to be signed and kept on file.

Noise Policy

We ask clients to not speak in the reception area while other massages are in session and to turn off all cellular phones, beepers, and other electronic devices during their visit.

Returned Checks and/or Insufficient Funds

It is against the law in Minnesota to write a check with insufficient funds. If a check is written and returned, the client will be responsible for the amount of the check plus a $20 return item fee.
